Air Force Veteran, Minister, Counselor, and Educator
Jack B. Westbrook was born in Lubbock, Texas. After high school, he entered the United States Air Force and married his high school sweetheart; the late Connie (nee) Teeters. During that time, Jack focused on his education; first earning an associate’s degree in Administrative Management. He would later complete his BS degree in Business Administration. After leaving the Air Force, Jack went into full-time ministry for 10 years and completed his master’s degree in Bible and Family ministry. Desiring to work on his Ph.D., he went into part-time ministry and supplemented his income by running his own handyman business. Jack studied Human Development and Family Studies and then went into addictions counseling. While in ministry, he served on a school board and supplemented his income by substitute teaching full-time. These opportunities gave him a unique opportunity to see how school districts and schools operate on a daily basis. Jack believes the testing of students has been broken for many years, and this problem is directly due to government intervention. He supports liberty for school districts, administrators, educators, parents, and students. Mr. Westbrook is retired and serves on two boards. He enjoys singing and making music in his spare time. He is a lifetime member of the Libertarian Party of Texas and a member of the Barbershop Harmony Society. He enjoys being an advocate for those who do not have the time or experience to do it for themselves and he would appreciate your vote.
I want to fight for your right to speak your mind, to utilize your property as you see fit, and to be free from non-essential government interference.
